Here is why it matters. Autofocus finds the nearest thing with contrast and locks to it. Through a window that thing is the glass: the smudge, the reflection, the rain on the pane. The scene beyond goes soft, and the shot is lost to a surface you were never trying to photograph. Anyone who has shot from a car, a train, a plane, or an aquarium knows the feeling of the lens refusing to look through.
Infinity Focus takes the decision back. Tap the infinity symbol and the lens racks to infinity and stays there, past the foreground, on the scene you meant. Long-press locks exposure at the same time, so a bright reflection cannot pull the metering with it.
Also in 1.0.7: a live white-balance preview, so the Tungsten and Daylight presets show in the viewfinder before you shoot, not after. Corrected rotation on the level indicator. Unique timestamped filenames, so no two frames collide. A more reliable Lock Screen camera shortcut. And a more honest edited badge, opening the editor without changing anything no longer marks a photo as edited.
