KOLORISTIKA APP · 1.2.4 · MAX MACRO & METHOD
May 3rd 2026 • PRESS RELEASE
AS CLOSE AS THE LENS WILL GO.
Lock any lens to its own minimum focus distance for reliable macro, and pick a formulation per photo, or none, in the new Method page.
Max Macro and Method headline Koloristika 1.2.4, out now.
Here is why Max Macro matters. At close range a phone's autofocus hunts. It racks past the subject, grabs the background, and refuses to settle on the thing an inch away. Every lens has a hard minimum, the closest distance it can physically focus, and it changes from lens to lens. Max Macro locks the lens there and holds it. Focus stops being a fight with the software and becomes a matter of moving the phone, the way macro has always worked: rock in and out until the plane lands where you want it.
Method is a new page in the editor for formulations. Pick one, or pick none, per photo. DRX is now per-photo as well, applied where you want it and not where you do not. The formulation badge stays on a frame only while the formulation does, so what the thumbnail shows is the truth of the file.
Also in 1.2.4: bug fixes and interface improvements.
